This week is the final submission of my project, so i have been showing my product to my peers and target audience to gage their reactions and something that was common among them was that they were not scared enough by the music, seeing as one of the main scare factors in horror movies is the music used, so i decided at the last minute to change my trailer's soundtrack to a more chilling instrumental rather than a rap influenced instrumental.
I still kept the intro beat of Natural Born Killaz but i changed the main soundtrack to that of another rap song called Nightmare On Elm St. by a rapper known as Young Bowleggs.
I had the song already so i decided to edit it on Wavepad Sound Editor (shown below)
After i had trimmed the beat to before the rap started and then looped the rest of the song to make it into an instrumental i then proceeded to save the file as a .wave file which is the most suitable sound file format to use with Adobe Premiere, (I learnt my lesson from last time when I tried to use an .mp3 format file and it became corrupted). When I came back to college i made alterations to the trailer using the new instrumental.
